Classroom Resources

Supporting Education Professionals with Resources for Young People with Epilepsy

We’ve developed resources specifically for the classroom because every young person with epilepsy deserves individualised support for their medical, educational, and emotional needs. At Young Epilepsy, we’ve listened to young people with epilepsy, and they’ve told us what truly matters:

  • Awareness: They want others to understand their epilepsy.
  • Better Training and Understanding: They ask for improved training and more awareness of their needs.
  • Inclusion: They want to be fully included in learning and play—whether in sports, clubs, or social life, without stigma.

Our priority is that each young person with epilepsy has an Individual Healthcare Plan (IHP), a tailored plan created in partnership with them to best support their specific needs in a school setting. We’re here to help educators and professionals working with young people to fully integrate them into the learning and social experiences of school.
