Volunteer Opportunities

We offer a range of volunteer opportunities to suit different interests and skills:

  • Fundraising: As a fundraising volunteer, you'll help organise and support events to raise vital funds for Young Epilepsy. Typical duties might include coordinating fundraising activities, engaging with donors, attending and promoting events to the community.
  • Communications: Communications volunteers could assist in spreading awareness about epilepsy and Young Epilepsy's initiatives. You could help with content or assist creatively with multimedia content.
  • Admin: Admin volunteers provide essential support to various departments within Young Epilepsy. Tasks include data entry, managing correspondence, and assisting with organisational duties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Health and Research Expertise: Volunteers with health and research expertise could contribute to ongoing studies and projects aimed at improving epilepsy care. Duties may include data collection, analysis, and supporting research initiatives.
  • Education and Inclusion: Education and Inclusion volunteers could work to support educational programmes and promote inclusive practices. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, developing educational materials, and supporting students with epilepsy.
  • Youth Support Services: Youth Support Services volunteers could provide direct assistance to individuals affected by epilepsy. Duties might include offering emotional support, helping with daily activities, and facilitating access to resources and services.

Join Our Youth Voice Network

If you are a young person aged 13-25 with epilepsy, you might be interested in becoming a member of our Youth Voice Network. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your experiences, advocate for change, and connect with others.
