Young boy representing the Understand My Epilepsy and his experience of being excluded from sports

Understand my epilepsy

Hearing the real-life experiences of children like Cash who were told they cannot attend football camps with their friends because of their epilepsy, demonstrates just how far we have to go in society to understand and educate people about the condition.

The journey to understanding epilepsy and breaking these unnecessary barriers for children like Cash, is one we are committed to through our Understand My Epilepsy campaign. Working with Jay to provide an event where young people are supported and included is one step towards a future where children with epilepsy are safe and included in all aspects of life.
