Markus Ruetimann takes up his new position as Chair of Trustees at Young Epilepsy this month, taking over from outgoing Chair, Baroness Jane Ramsey, who has diligently supported us as Chair for the past eight years.
Markus joins us with a wealth of knowledge from his international career in financial services, working as a Chief Operating Officer for several global investment managers for over three decades.
We are delighted to welcome Markus as Chair of our Board of Trustees. Over the last few years, we have worked closely with the board to develop our offer for both our national charity Young Epilepsy and all our students at St Piers.Mark Devlin, Young Epilepsy CEO
In his charitable work, Markus has also proudly served as a trustee of UK charity Action for Children for the past nine years in a number of positions, culminating as Chair of Action for Children Developments Ltd.
The impact we can make in the lives of young people has grown significantly in that time, and with the expert help and support of Markus we look forward to taking further strides to strengthen and grow for many years to come.Mark Devlin, Young Epilepsy CEO
