Since July 2018, Kishan Sheth, founder of 'Comedy On', felt inspired to raise awareness of epilepsy as he has the condition himself. So, he decided to host a monthly charity comedy event which is going from strength-to-strength.
Every month, Kishan invites his comedy pals to take to the stage at Cafe 1001 in Brick Lane, London, drawing big crowds to the trendiest part of the capital.
Kishan explains why he supports Young Epilepsy through his comedy nights:
Stand-up comedy is something I enjoy and have always been fond of. I started Comedy On events to support comedians and for people to enjoy. My company has grown remarkably and I am proud to have promoted such talented individuals.
Young Epilepsy is a cause close to my heart. I truly appreciate the support they provide to young people and their families. It gives me great pleasure to raise awareness for Young Epilepsy and be able to add to their institution.
