Magazines for schools
Young Epilepsy has produced two magazines for primary and secondary aged children, thanks to funding from the BIG Lottery.
The magazines, called ‘All about epilepsy,’ are suitable for any child or teenager who wants to learn more about epilepsy, whether or not they have the condition themselves.
Content includes:
- What is epilepsy?
- What do seizures look like?
- How to help someone having a seizure
- What is it like to have epilepsy?
- Epilepsy problem page
- Real life stories
The magazines have been developed to complement Young Epilepsy’s Education 4 Schools project, which is also funded by the BIG Lottery and provides free epilepsy training for staff and pupils in schools across London.
The magazines can be downloaded for free here.
