Big Lottery Fund logoYoung Epilepsy, the national charity working exclusively on behalf of children and young people with epilepsy, is in the process of setting up 10 support groups across Greater London, thanks to the generous support of the BIG Lottery. Most meeting sessions will last an average of two hours but when and how often the meetings take place will depend on the needs of each group.

To register your interest in a support group in your borough in Greater London please email us at supportnetwork@youngepilepsy.org.uk or call us on 01342 832243 ext 561.

We currently taking registrations for the following boroughs where we have interested partners helping us to set up groups:

Redbridge

Redbridge, Interface and Haven House logosYoung Epilepsy is delighted to be working with Haven House Hospice, Redbridge and Interface. Bringing parents of disabled children together, to help deliver their Expert Parent Programme. This programme will be available to all parents in the Redbridge area. The programme covers a variety of topics including four sessions on childhood epilepsy.

Islington

Young Epilepsy is very pleased to be working with Centre 404 Parent Carer Information and Support Service to provide this support group for all parents and carers of children with epilepsy in the Islington area.

The group will meet monthly on Wednesdays, 10:00 am – 12.00 noon.

Ealing

Young Epilepsy is very pleased to be working with Mandeville Special School, Greenford to provide this support group for all parents and carers of children with epilepsy in the Ealing area.

The group will meet monthly on Thursdays, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. Term time only.
